LUTHANDO SHOSHA IS THE FACE OF KRONE NIGHT NECTAR BLANC DE BLANCS 2018

The first of its kind in Africa… a supreme expression of Chardonnay, night-harvested under the light of the stars and bottle-fermented in the cool of our underground cellar.

Krone partnered with radio personality, Luthando Shosha to bring the story of our new Cap Classique to life. As the face and ambassador of the launch campaign, Luthando Shosha has been intimately involved in various elements surrounding its release. Luthando has been a long-time friend of the Krone brand and was an obvious fit for the partnership.


Of her involvement in the Night Nectar Blanc de Blancs campaign, Luthando says, “I cannot wait to welcome everyone into a new world of luxury, authenticity and bubbles! This is a new beginning with divine timing. To say I’m excited would be an understatement. You’re about to experience the best of Krone with absolute love.”


Krone Night Nectar Blanc De Blancs 2018 is naturally fermented in foudres and is then crafted in a classic bottle-fermented style. It matures on the lees for up to 36 months in the cool of our underground cellar. After which the final dosage is added, to be in perfect balance with the natural acidity of the Cap Classique, providing an elegant touch of richness. Bold, vivacious and one of a kind  bring on the night.

We proudly present Krone Night Nectar Blanc De Blancs 2018 to our collection of Vintage-only Cap Classique. 2022 sees the release of a new, innovative Cap Classique, made exclusively from Chardonnay in the nectar style. NIGHT NECTAR BLANC is a supreme expression of the purity of Chardonnay and the first of its kind in Africa. This elegant, long-lived Cap Classique is made from night-harvested grapes and will benefit from both maturation in bottle as well as for enjoyment now. With up to 36 months of bottle maturation this Blanc de Blanc embodies the spirit of Krone and will develop further in complexity as it ages.
